Personal injury claim
was reversing back as slow as a snail and bumped into a stationary car that could clearly see me coming did not bib or move back so i nudged the bumper and caused a small dent and scratch.

Now i know that the wanker was looking for this but i accepted the blame as i still should have not gone into the car so i claimed i was at fault,

Now after 3 days the person is claiming personal injury ie whiplash. I had 2 small kids and me mother in law in the back of my car and they did not even move when i hit the other car due to the low impact how the fuck can someone blatantly lie and get away with this. How can you get whiplash by a car car bumping yours at such slow impact ridiculous the chancers in this country now.

Been told by the insurers this law is only in England if any damage on a car and a person is in the car they can claim personal injury. The fucker was straight out their car looking too happy and relaxed for my liking they were looking for a mug like me i guess. will get a nice £5k cheque soon thanks Blair, Brown cameron

Anyone else had experiences like this

Re: Personal injury claim
Insruct your insurer that you want the individual to go through MedCo before a payment is made. That is the government ordered panel of doctors set up to assess people for whiplash injury.

Re: Personal injury claim
I've worked for personal injury firms in the states. They can claim personal injury all they like, they still have the issue of proof. the rule of thumb over here was(property damage + medical bills) X 2. Bear in mind, US has the worst liability exposure of anywhere in the world. I'd bet he ends up with the cost to fix the car.
